Aqua Joy Swim offers traveling swim lessons that emphasize safety, skill development, and the joy of swimming. With over 15 years of experience, we provide swim lessons in Atlanta and San Diego, helping swimmers of all ages gain confidence and receive essential water safety education for a lifetime.
Aqua Joy Safer Swimmers Project
The Aqua Joy Water-Safety Outreach Program brings engaging, age-appropriate water-safety education directly to schools, daycares, camps, HOAs, churches, and community events.
Through interactive demonstrations, group discussions, and fun learning activities, children and families learn how to recognize water hazards, make safer choices, and respond appropriately during a water emergency.
Program topics include:
- Safe behavior in and around pools
- The importance of active adult supervision
- Wearing a properly fitted life jacket
- Safely entering and exiting the water
- Reaching or throwing—never entering the water—to help someone
- Understanding pool rules and emergency procedures
- Recognizing the role of lifeguards
- Building confidence without encouraging risky behavior
Participants may also receive an Aqua Joy water-safety checklist, pledge card, educational activities, and an “I Took the Aqua Joy Water Safety Pledge” sticker.
This program can be presented during the fall and winter, helping families remember that water safety is important throughout the entire year—even when children are not taking swim lessons.

Swim Lessons Made Convenient for You
Aqua Joy offers personalized swim lessons for swimmers of all ages and skill levels—from beginners learning water-safety basics to experienced swimmers working to strengthen their technique and confidence.
For your convenience, our instructors travel to your selected private, residential, or community pool. If you do not have access to a pool, we can help you explore available pool options in your area.

Tracey founded Aqua Joy with a mission to make quality swim instruction more accessible to families and communities. Tracey is the founder and lead swim instructor of Aqua Joy Swim. With years of experience in aquatics and swim instruction, Tracey is passionate about helping children and adults become safer, stronger, and more confident in the water. Through private lessons, group programs, and community partnerships, she is committed to building confident swimmers and creating safer communities—one family at a time.
Andre Jones
Operational Manager & Instructor , Aqua Joy Swim
Andre is a passionate and valued member of the Aqua Joy team with a background in both swim instruction and martial arts training. His experience has taught him the importance of discipline, patience, safety, and confidence-building.
With his fun, positive, and encouraging teaching style, Andre helps swimmers feel comfortable while developing strong swimming techniques and essential water-safety skills.
